FARNHAM artist Rosemary Miller, has been unanimously elected as the first woman member of the Wapping Group of Artists.

The group, which was founded 70 years ago, meet to paint ‘plein air’ along the Thames, its estuaries and tributaries in all weathers from May to October. There are 25 members including several well -known artists, past members of the group include Edward Wesson and Rowland Hilder.
