IN an area brimming with avid cyclists, Farnham start-up ‘Just Keep Spinning’ fits its target audience perfectly.
The bicycle repairs, servicing and maintenance business was recently launched by Stuart and Genevieve Wells and operates on a purely mobile basis.
The business being run through a call-out system allows their customers to remain where they are while Just Keep Spinning comes to them.
This is a great advantage rather than having to travel to a bike shop, with all the inconveniences that entails.
As well as operating as a call out repairs and maintenance service, the couple sell bespoke bike clothing and offer bike courses on top of this.
Stuart is the director of Just Keep Spinning and is himself a keen cyclist who participates annually in local charity cycling events.
This year Stuart is cycling for Tommy’s, specialising in miscarriages and deaths in babies.
Genevieve was keen to undergo training with Stuart for this ride but due to their difference in skill level they found this challenging.
To combat this issue the couple looked into purchasing an electric bike so that they could still cycle together, they were very impressed and while testing the product they were offered to be the southern distributor.
The ‘Eskuta Town’ runs for 50 miles off of a six-hour charge which costs just 10p each time. The bicycle boasts advantages such as there being no need for insurance, licence, tax or MOT and no extortionate fuel costs.
The product costs £1,395 and the couple are very excited about it’s possible applications.
The product has aided students from a financial standpoint and work commuters as it cuts out a substantial amount of annual fees related to owning a motor vehicle as well as vastly cutting down on the damaging effect these individuals would have had on the environment.
