Roads underwater as isolated flooding reported around Herald & Post areaFollowing a successful six-week course in Petersfield, the charity’s food course will take place at the Kingsley Centre.
Men will be taught how to make a range of healthy dishes during the classes on Friday mornings.
The six-week course, beginning on April 15 and costing £10, is part of a healthy eating initiative to encourage men over 50 to learn skills that perhaps they have had little time or no need to practise.
The men to whom the course might appeal are those who have been widowed, or are caring for an ill partner, or who may just want to take care of their own health by eating better food.
