A CANINE Partners for Independence assistance labrador has achieved the doggy equivalent of the cover of Time Magazine.
Clanfield CPI dog Endal and his partner Allen Parton, were at WH Smith in Rams Walk on Tuesday to see next monthÕs ÒDogs TodayÓ hit the news stands.
A pin-up picture of Endal, taken by a leading animal photographer is adorning the front cover of AprilÕs edition with the question: ÒIs this dog the brightest on earth?Ó.
Referred to as ÒBritainÕs most famous labradorÓ, the magazine carries a story about the difference Endal has made to AllenÕs life and the extraordinary range of tasks he can perform.
Some of these tasks Endal was never trained to do - he simply does them because, through the extraordinary relationship he has established with Allen, he knows they are needed.
Endal has received many awards but Allen was particularly proud last month when his labrador received the worldÕs first Canine Life Achievement Award at this yearÕs Golden Bone Awards.
Now Endal is a pin-up and this weekend will be making his annual appearance at Crufts in Birmingham.
