BROXHEAD Common Cricket Ground has held a successful open day launch.
The open day gave visitors the chance to see the new-look pavilion, and share their ideas for developing the ground.
Hampshire Cricket Board club development officer John Cook cut the tape to celebrate the event after a few words from club president Phil Coleshill.
A spokesman for Grayshott Cricket Club, whose home ground is at Broxhead, said: “Many thanks to everyone who has helped the club in recent months with all the work at Broxhead.
The improvements to the facilities at Broxhead were mainly funded through a grant from the England and Wales Cricket Trust’s Small Grant Scheme, sponsored by Waitrose and supported by the Hampshire Cricket Board.
* The pavilion is now available for hire. To hold an event, call chairman Paul Roberts on 01428 714626.
