HOLYBOURNE Cricket Club brought their season to a spectacular end with a sixes competition involving players from clubs in and around Alton.
Seven teams battled it out through sun and showers to provide a great afternoon of fun for all. Bradley Taylor, the England Under-19 skipper and Hampshire player, led out a team from his local club Holybourne.
Micky Roberts, the Holybourne club captain, extended a big thank you to everyone who supported the event.
“It was a great family day out and we will definitely do it again next year,” he said.
“We hope to make it an even bigger event, so make sure that you look out for details next season.”
The day was supported by Waitrose and the ECB Cricket Fun Day Scheme.
