DETECTIVES trying to fill in gaps in the life of serial killer Peter Tobin have received new information following an appeal on BBC's Crimewatch programme.

Seven rape victims were identified following a previous appeal last July into the life of the serial killer, found guilty of killing A3 hitchhiker Dinah McNicol, who was last seen alive in the Liphook area, in August 1991.
