A PETERSFIELD mother has appealed for traffic-calming measures or a crossing in Frenchmans Road after her daughter was knocked down on her way to school.
Lisa Chalmers from Stoneham Park said her daughter Hannah (11) was "extremely lucky" to have escaped serious injury.
