EVERY little child’s dream came true for Cubs from the 1st Headley Scout Group when they visited Bordon fire station.

At the retained fire station, on Conde Way, the Cubs explored a fire engine and tried out the fire hoses.

A total of 24 Cubs from the pack were taken to the fire station, last Monday, by four leaders.

Led by watch manager Paul Guy, three firefighters showed the group around the fire station.

The Cubs learned about fire safety in the home, what to do if they were on fire and what clothing and apparatus firefighters wear and use at work.
