PRIMARY school children from across the Farnham area channelled their inner elves in a competition to design the best Christmas decorations at Squire’s Garden Centre.

Youngsters from South Farnham infants and juniors, Badshot Lea infants and St Joseph’s in Aldershot visited Squire’s in Badshot Lea to design their own tree decorations and hang them on a special tree.

Customers were then asked to vote for their favourite tree and it was announced that St Joseph’s School won first prize.

Richard Wells, manager at Squire’s Badshot Lea said: “I was really impressed with the time and effort that had gone into making such beautiful circus-themed decorations.

“It was a pleasure to have all the children visit Squire’s and see such enthusiastic tree decorating. I am delighted to give all the winning children from St Joseph’s School goody bags which are packed full of pre-Christmas treats.”
