GODALMING College principal David Adelman will address the South West Surrey Compass Group on Saturday to talk about the impact of cuts to the further education budget.
South West Surrey Compass is part of a national organisation that describes itself as “the home for everyone who wants to be part of a much more equal, democratic and sustainable future”.
It comprises members of Labour, Green and the Lib Dems, as well as many who are progressive-minded but belong to no political party.
Tomorrow’s meeting will also be attended and addressed by Jacqui Howard, national organiser for Compass.
It will take place at the Unitarian Church Hall in Meadrow, Godalming, from 9.30am for a 10am start, and is open to all who are interested and concerned about the impact of the cuts.
