A new cycle route that would link the major towns in East Hampshire has been branded "silly" and "hare-brained" by a Petersfield man who feels it is a waste of time and money.

Shipwrights Way is a proposed new pathway that would span the length of the district, taking in Petersfield, Alton, Bordon and Liphook.
