Dame Judi Dench will open this year’s annual flower show at the RHS Garden Wisley on Tuesday.

The six-day flower festival (September 4 to 9) offers visitors the chance to enjoy a profusion of plants and flowers, seek the best gardening advice and explore the garden in its late summer glory.

Supported by Witan Investment Trust, the show will host more than 50 specialist nurseries and new exhibitors will display items including air plants, unusual shrubs and an urban rock garden display.

Dame Judi said: “I am so thrilled to be invited to Wisley this year, it is somewhere I have always wanted to go and never managed to actually get there until now, hooray!”
