FARNHAM Scottish Dancing Club celebrated its 60th anniversary recently.
The Memorial Hall in Farnham was suitably decorated and around 74 people assembled for dancing to live music and a buffet supper. Some past chairmen of the club were present and a celebration cake was cut by Eithne Noakes who was chairman of the club from 1971 to 1975.
Ian Muir who, with his wife Judith provided the music had played for the club’s 21st and 50th anniversaries
It was a successful and very enjoyable evening.
The club meets on Tuesdays at 8pm in the Memorial Hall, Farnham, at the moment and in the new year at Weydon School
