Alongside members of the public and employees, company founder and managing director Susie Thomson also took part in the popular dance event.
And it raised £1,400 for the Alzheimer’s Society and helped toward the £500,000 target the company aims to raise for the charity.
A Security Watchdog spokesman said: “Or latest event at the Assembly Rooms was hugely popular and, as part of a larger shared partnership with Capita and the Alzheimer’s Society, we are working toward becoming a dementia-friendly business.
“We aim to inspire and engage employees and clients through fundraising and skill-sharing activities, and to raise £500,000 for the society. Our money will go directly to the society, so they can help people living with dementia.
“It will also increase employee and client awareness of dementia and to help the Alzheimer’s Society reach more people affected by dementia.”
The spokesman continued: “The Alzheimer’s Society believes passionately that life doesn’t end when dementia begins. They offer support for anyone affected by dementia, and do everything they can to keep people with dementia connected to their lives and the people who matter most.
“As an employer which has been established for 20 years, we recognise the importance of supporting such a fantastic cause.”
Another zumba event is planned for June.
