BATHERS hoping to cool off in Frensham Great Pond as temperatures soared on Tuesday found it had been declared off limits due to unsafe levels of blue-green algae.

“You should also shower as soon as possible after leaving the water. If you have any signs of skin rash, stomach pains or vomiting after being in the water you need to seek medical advice.
