THE dates for this years Petersfield Festivities have been announced for the August bank holiday weekend, and to mark the event an awards showcase has also been launched this week.

The three-day festivities will take place from 6pm on Saturday, August 29, to 5pm on Monday, August 31. The Petersfield Festivities is the largest community event in Petersfield, attracting more than 15,000 to the centre of town last year.
