LIPHOOK Day Centre for the elderly is making an appeal for volunteer drivers to get clients to and back from the centre on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Volunteer Anne Hall said: “We are really struggling and are appealing to any local people to spare an hour a day to help with transport.
“In the morning it could be any time between 9.30am and 10.30am to pick clients up from their homes or between 2.45pm and 3.30pm in the afternoon to take clients home.
“Any help would be greatly appreciated.”
There is a small payment towards petrol costs and all trips are local. Anyone who would like to volunteer or who could provide the use of a minibus can call 01428 724941.
