THE countdown has begun for the return of the Supercar Event in aid of The Children’s Trust, at Dunsfold Park’s Top Gear track.

More than 150 state-of-the-art motors including the Ferrari 458 Speciale, Porsche 991 GT3RS and the Lamborghini Aventador SV will be on show over the weekend of June 24 and 25.

A Porsche 918 Spyder and Batman’s famous Batmobile will also be there.

Now in its 11th year, the family event attracts more than 17,000 visitors and is expected to raise over £100,000 for the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury.

Ex-Formula One driver Max Chilton said: “The event is amazing. It’s so rare so many people can get up close and personal to some of the world’s most spectacular cars. It’s the whole package at an iconic track.”

As well as once-in-a-lifetime passenger rides on the famous Top Gear track starting at just £30, there will be rides in helicopters, trucks, Caterham Sevens, hovercrafts, mini-tanks, Diggerland, the Lexus LFA and a trip on a 4x4 course.

Younger guests can have their first driving experience with Stay Safe Driving School, take a fire engine ride or try the Mini Monster Truck Mania.

Family tickets cost £30 (adults £12, kids and concessions £8). Book at www. thesupercarevent.com
