PEOPLE in Liss Forest have been given six months to save their village store and post office from closure.

Penny Edmund-White has told villagers that she will close Liss Forest Stores and Post Office in June unless someone takes it over.

The 65 year old has run the popular store on Forest Road for a decade but has struggled to find a buyer ahead of her pending retirement.

Members of the Liss Forest Residents' Association have begun a 'Save Our Shop' campaign after hearing the news from Penny at their last meeting.
