A SNOWY picture is very appropriate for this time of year – but this one isn’t the result of an early flurry in 2021.

The photograph by Brad Austin, called Fresh Snowfall In Bordon Inclosure, is one of the 12 selected – from more than 90 submitted – in a competition to create the Deadwater Valley Trust 2022 calendar.

Andrew Jeatt’s Met A Fungi was chosen as the overall winner for its “wonderful colours, unusual perspective and excellent subject matter”.

Photographers featured in the calendar have been awarded a free copy of it but the public can buy one for £4.50 from the trust or at the Forest Community Centre, Café Hogmoor or Café 1759 in Bordon.
