THE death knell may have sounded at a village church near Petersfield.

But people in Liss Forest are keeping the faith with St Saviour's – and they are praying that church leaders will have a change of heart.

Villagers discovered last week that the "tin tabernacle" on Forest Road had been earmarked for closure by the Parochial Church Council.
