GRIGGS Green residents have had a heated debate with parish planners over plans for 51 holiday apartments at Old Thorns.

Twenty members of the newly-formed Griggs Green Residents' Association and a dozen Old Thorns supporters confronted councillors in a heated hour-long meeting at the Haskell Centre.
