GRAYSHOTT will stage its village market on December 3, one day ahead of the festive market in Haslemere.

The seasonal one-off market in The Square will run from 3pm-7pm. To book a stall, e-mail christmasmarket@ grayshott.com. There is a 10 per cent discount for early bookings and 50 per cent off for charities.

* There is a free Star Wars inflatable party at St Luke’s Church, in the village, on Saturday, October 29.

Aimed at primary school children there will be games, crafts and inflatables between 4pm-6pm, then for older children there is an inflatables party between 7pm-9pm.

Entry is free and there is a prize for best dressed in the younger group.
