RUSHMOOR Borough Council's planning committee is being recommended to give the go-ahead to controversial plans to almost double the number of flights at Farnborough Airport when it makes its decision on Wednesday next week.

The application, submitted in June, has prompted a large amount of opposition from Farnham and villages.
