TRAFFIC delays are likely across Farnham over the next fortnight, with roadworks set to begin in Firgrove Hill, Guildford Road and Odiham Road on Monday.

Temporary traffic lights will be in place in Firgrove Hill between the junctions with Hookstile Lane and Searle Road from Monday until the following Tuesday (February 23). This is to allow gas distribution company SGN to lay a new gas main and services for Hookstile Lane.

SGN is also scheduled to connect a gas main to the site of the new Premier Inn and Beefeater restaurant in Guildford Road next week, with three days of two-way traffic lights planned from Monday.

And delays are expected in Odiham Road from Monday, with three days of temporary traffic lights scheduled 80 metres from the Hampshire boundary for carriageway repairs by Surrey County Council.
