CHILDREN at Chawton Pre-School enjoyed a visit from four members of Alton's Apollonia House Dental Practice last week.
The youngsters were shown examples of food and drink and had to decide whether they were good or bad for their teeth.
They also learned how to clean their teeth properly, with the help of a very large set of dentures and some two-minute timers.
And they were able to examine the face masks, gloves and mirrors used by dentists when they are working.
They enjoyed the talk which ended with the distribution of goody bags containing toothbrushes and timers, stickers and colouring pages. The children also took part in a sponsored tooth clean.
