THE first eco project in Whitehill and Bordon - the development of the old fire station on the A325 crossroads - has hit another setback after East Hampshire District Council's north planning committee voted to defer the application because of a lack of detail.
The district council wants to convert the red-brick Victorian building into an eco-exhibition and community centre, with the possibility of using land at the back of Lloyds Bank next door to extend the scheme.
