A DEVELOPER which built a major estate in Petersfield is lining up a bid to build nearly homes on a nearby greenfield site.

Kebbell Homes, which built the Herne Farm Estate, is close to submitting a planning application to develop the Penns Field site.
The site, which covers around three hectares and is surrounded by hedges and trees, was earmarked for housing in the last local plan.
