A MAJOR housing developer is hoping to build 51 homes on the site of the former Park School.
Barratt Homes has applied for planning permission to build the mix of two-to-four-bedroom homes and will buy the 1.95 acre Hale Road site for an undisclosed sum if its bid succeeds. The value of the land has been estimated at around £3million.
