NINE new homes are on the cards at Tilford Garage after a revised application was put forward for approval.
The application, by Spincrest Limited of Greenhills Estate, follows the granting of planning consent last year for a terrace of five houses that front The Street, three detached houses to the rear and an extension to the village shop.
The five houses at the front of the site and the shop extension will not be changed, however in the revised application the “three detached units at the rear of the site will be replaced with four detached units of exactly the same overall floor area”.
They will consist of two three-bedroom homes and two four-bedroom homes. The development will replace the existing Tilford Garage and its forecourt, the open areas of car storage and sales, a four-bedroom house to the north of the garage grounds and a flat above the garage.
