ELSTEAD-based digital marketing agency Innovation Visual held an office warming party earlier this month by featuring the latest trends in digital.
The Tanshire Park-based company, run by Haslemere resident Tim Butler, was chosen by Google as one of the top 30 High Potential agencies in the UK this year to be part of their ‘Elevator’ programme.
Google itself was part of the event giving a talk on the future of voice search and its impact on business and running demonstration sessions of its Google Home device.
Innovation Visual has made its name by helping businesses achieve more with their websites and online marketing.
They don’t build websites – they help businesses do more with their existing websites. They work in partnership with businesses to solve the blocks that stop websites from performing properly and delivering the results firms need.
Innovation Visual’s processes positively impact all parts of the customer engagement chain from driving people to the website to turning them into sales.
In order to do this they invest a lot in training of their staff, making sure that every member of staff, even the founder, undertakes at least eight hours of training per month.
They have also just recruited another digital marketing apprentice from the area who will be completing an NVQ in digital marketing as well as eight Google and Hubspot professional qualifications.
Founder Tim Butler said of their emphasis on training and development: “The world of digital marketing is evolving all of the time. The team need to understand deeply those innovations that are going to result in measurable change for business and how they can be best utilised.
“Our clients rely on our advice and guidance to help ensure that they continue to increase their digital advantage over competitors as change happens.
“The constant investment in our staff also helps us attract the best people, which is good because our growth means we are almost constantly recruiting from the local area.”
They also believe in helping businesses develop their own skills and as part of this they are running an Adwords training session, with experts from Google on the October 11 for the Godalming Chamber of Commerce.
Also demonstrating exciting technology at the event were Diverse Interactive, based on the Surrey Research park in Guildford.
It is one of the leading augmented reality and virtual reality companies in Europe. Its technology is used by companies as diverse as BAe Systems to Mercedes Benz.
It was a Mercedes AMG virtual reality simulator that drew a lot of attention on the night with everyone eager to experience the motion seat and headset. This worldleading technology now being used across Europe has been developed in Surrey.
Innovation Visual’s event was a great reminder of the leaders in the digital sphere that are based in the local area and their desire to share their expertise with the wider business community.
The event also raised money for the Surrey based David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation that has been a regular recipient of donations from Innovation Visual over the last few years.
