A FARNHAM charity providing play and leisure opportunities for disabled children and young people is to receive thousands of pounds in funding thanks to a partnership with Sainsbury's in South Street.
Disability Challengers, based in St James' Avenue, gives local youngsters aged between two and 25 a chance to enjoy leisure facilities in a safe environment, and their parents vital respite.
Having supported the charity throughout 2011/12, raising more than £4,000, Sainsbury's supermarket in South Street, Farnham has announced it will support Disability Challengers again this year.
The nomination comes after customers at the town centre supermarket were invited to vote for their favourite local charities, putting Disability Challengers on top of the pile for the second year in a row.
