A CHARITY in the middle of a rent hike rumpus involving the Festival Hall will be reimbursed after a council booking error.
The rumpus broke out after Jeremy Holmes, the founder of the annual Easter charity market and the giant Christmas market which raises thousands of pounds for the Portsmouth Hospitals' Rocky Appeal for state-of-the-art medical advances for the the benefit of local people, found their fundraising efforts reduced by half because of steep rent increases to hire the hall.
