THERE was a gloomy prediction on the future of Bordon's eco-town at a meeting on Monday,

Town councillor Kevin Cawley alleged that the district council did not have any control over what was happening in the town.

He said: "At the end of the day, there won't be any money for years to come."

Mr Cawley made his comments while councillors were being updated - by town and district councillor Adam Carew at the Whitehill Town Council meeting - about the first meeting of the delivery board, which is now in charge of overseeing the eco-town project.
