TRELOAR School and College in Holybourne has been reaccredited as a Leader of Diversity.
In a statement from the National Centre for Diversity warm congratulations were expressed to senior leaders, staff and stakeholders at the school on “the successful achievement of Leaders in Diversity at full review”.
Martin Ingram, Treloar’s principal, said that this prestigious award reflected Treloar’s commitment to inclusiveness.
“This is a really fantastic achievement for Treloar’s. We clearly lead the way for other organisations in providing equal opportunities and demanding equality for young people with disabilities.”
He added: “This national award also recognises that we are an inclusive organisation that leads others in confronting discrimination and unfair treatment in all its forms.”
