A DOG was rescued from the frozen Deadwater Valley Pond last Wednesday after falling through the ice.

The Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service called in animal rescue specialist Russell Brown to save Max who had fallen through the ice and, unable to get out, was in danger of drowning.
