HINDHEAD’S St Alban’s Church is hosting a free workshop on domestic abuse next month.

‘A Hidden Secret – Opening the door on Domestic Abuse’ will be led by Suzette Jones, health and wellbeing Adviser in Guildford Diocese, on Monday February 1.

Domestic Abuse affects one-in-four women and one-in-six men, and is a significant issue linked to child protection.

St Alban’s vicar Rev Richard Bodle, said: “The talk aims to open the door and raise awareness on this often hidden subject. It will explore issues in a sensitive way and help us to know how we can help and where help is available.”
