Leisure centres in East Hampshire have joined forces with the JogOn campaign, which is aiming to keep a million pairs of running shoes out of landfill.
Alton Sports Centre, Taro Leisure Centre and Whitehill & Bordon Leisure Centre, run by Everyone Active for East Hampshire District Council, are each hosting a collection bin where people can drop off unwanted running shoes.
These are sent to JogOn, which sends reusable pairs around the world to people who need them.
