THE Downing Street Charity Shop has donated its latest £1,000 cheque to Help Autistic Children (HAC), a Farnham-based charity dedicated to supporting autistic children and young adults in Surrey and Hampshire.

Over the last 15 years, HAC has been able to make large number of individual and project donations, including the 2015 purchase of a sailing dinghy for Sailability at Frensham Ponds.

Continuing its local focus, the donation from Lady Tindle at the Downing Street Charity Shop has enabled HAC to complete the funding of a sensory suite for Farnham-based Project 19, adding to money raised earlier this year at the charity’s annual golf day and at its charity ball last November.
