A CAMPAIGN has been launched to find a bone marrow donor for a Petersfield man undergoing cancer treatment.

Daffydd Tavinor has spent several weeks in hospital after being diagnosed with leukaemia in December.

The musician – whose partner was due to give birth this week – has received chemotherapy but has since been diagnosed with a blood clot and an infection.

He was admitted to critical care early this week after suffering kidney problems but seems to be recovering.

Doctors are now looking for a bone marrow transplant but need a 100 per cent match as anything lower is too dangerous to risk.
