DOUBLE murderer John Lowe will spend the rest of his life behind bars.

Mr Justice Singh handed down two life sentences on Lowe, 82, last Friday stipulating that he should serve a minimum term of 25 years.

The former puppy breeder had been convicted two days earlier of the murders of his partner Christine Lee, 66, and her daughter Lucy, 40, at his run-down Keepers Cottage Stud home in Waverley Lane, Tilford, in February of this year.

He had also been found guilty of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life for which he received a sentence of 10 years.
