THE fate of Lord Mayor Treloar Hospital remains on a knife-edge this week with South East NHS Executive refusing to confirm that the site has been sold.
Despite confirmation that the bid by Alton's Treloar Project Group had been "unsuccessful", and subsequent rumours of a sale, it appears the announcement may have been premature.
