Downing Street Practice is hoping to relocate to new premises in Farnham town centre.
The Herald understands the surgery is taking on part of Wey Court East on the corner of Union Road and South Street – the former home of Ashgate Publishing.
By relocating, the practice said it will be able to look at extending its services to patients while ensuring it still enjoys a town-centre location.
A Downing Street Surgery spokesman said: “The practice is working with Waverley Borough Council to finalise arrangements of the relocation and will be able to provide additional information to patients and the community in the coming weeks.”
The Downing Street Surgery has been based at 4 Downing Street for more than 200 years. It hopes to complete the move in spring 2024.
