AHOY there! Nursery Toad Hall has been selected to put on a mini-show at RHS Wisley.

‘Dragonflies’ pupils are now busy growing flowers for their pirate-themed display in Wisley’s Budding Gardener competition.

“In preparation for our chance to show off our work, Dragonflies have been mastering the art of planting flowers,” said Louise Cope, manager of the Haslemere-based nursery.

“I’d like to thank our very own ‘green fingered’ Sue Chappell for her enthusiastic approach.

“Our Little Toads have been planting different coloured flowers. We have an amazing wooden boat and a treasure box for flowers to grow in and to bloom out of ready for our show.

“The children have enjoyed the process and have been involved in every stage and they’re very excited to show off their handiwork.”
