CONCERNS have been raised by councillors and the public about existing main drainage problems in the parish which would get worse if and when more houses are built.

According to Trevor Maroney, chairman of the parish plan group, Thames Water has received lots of complaints, but, so far, has done little to upgrade the existing system to prevent flooding and contamination.

The comments came to light at Bramshott and Liphook's Parish Council meeting, on Monday.

Mr Maroney added that the water firm had acknowledged contaminated flooding along Headley Road, Longmoor Road, Midhurst Road and Newtown Road.
