A MAN has been charged with drink driving after a pedestrian was injured at the Weyfest music festival in Tilford on Saturday.

Shannon Comley, 34, of Weybourne Road, Farnham, was charged with driving while over the legal limit following the incident around 11pm in the car park of the Rural Life Centre in Reeds Road.

A woman was taken to Frimley Park Hospital after being hit by a car but Surrey Police confirmed her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.

Mr Comley is due to appear at South West Surrey Magistrates’ Court in Guildford on September 23.
