POLICE have charged a Farnham man with causing death by careless driving after an 85-year-old pedestrian died following a crash in Weybourne last week.

Dennis Bray was crossing Farnborough Road from the Brooklands Road side to go to the shops at 5.44pm on Thursday, January 6, when he was in collision with a blue Ford Focus travelling towards Aldershot.

He was rushed to Frimley Park Hospital but was transferred to St George's Hospital in Tooting, where he later died of his injuries.
