THE emergency services were called to the junction of Wilsom Road and Omega Park in Alton last Friday after a two-vehicle collision resulted in one driver being cut out of her vehicle.

South Central Ambulance Service dispatched a rapid response vehicle and two road ambulances to the scene around 4.10pm after the crash between a commercial van and a Ford KA.

A 21-year-old woman was cut from her vehicle and both drivers were taken to North Hampshire Hospital in Basingstoke, one suffering from neck and chest injuries, the other with minor injuries.
