MORE than a dozen drivers hit the road for the inaugural Farnham Banger Rally last month, covering 900 miles in just four days and raising around £8,500 for charity. The event, dubbed Wreck and Rouen 2014, required participants to buy an old banger for no more than £350 and drive at their own pace to Rouen in north-west France and back, covering 200 miles per day. Darren Stone, who organised the rally, said: "It ran like clockwork, I'm overwhelmed with how well it actually went." For full story, see this week's Farnham Herald.
